I am looking for an ISP that provides phone and Internet at a very cheap price but good service. Not after mega MB downloads. 2mb is enough for me. With Virging at the mo anf peed off with costs. Ta

if you are on cable I suggest that you stay with them.
if you are on ADSL have a look at Be/O2 (esp. if you have an O2 mobile).
ring virgin to cancel, see how much you get off
ring them and say your canceling and say your joining sky, that one always makes them give u a better deal lol. So far ive gone from
256--->512---->1mb---->2mb---->4mb and soon to 10mb free. All that was free upgrades with a discount , currently paying £10 for 4mb which isnt bad for an old customer.
Definitely give them a call. When they pulled Sky channels from virgin media packages I decided to see what I could get out virgin. Rang saying I was cancelling and in the end got my package bumped up to the top of the range one (with supposedly 20mbit broadband but it NEVER reaches that speed) for no extra charge. Great fun.
yeah best to give them a ring and say that you switching to sky...i done that and managed to get 10mb broadband for free and virgin tv package for only a quid a month plus its better to stay with cable imo
Definetly give them a buzz.. I'm paying £17 for 20mbit internet and unlimited landlines telephone
What number do i ring guys?
Wish Sky did something like above, cable via blueyonder have always been amazingly fast with speed, and untouchable with ping times
O2 seem to have good deal and reviews at the moment, but I suppose it depends where you live!
be if you have llu
adsl24 if you can't get llu
virgin obviously if you can get cable
Is ADSL24 better than Plus.net ?
They seem to have very similar deals - which I assume is passed on from BT wholesale.

I can reccomend adsl24. I have them and have not had any problems. A bonus is that their support/sales are ALL in UK. Keep heavy downloading off peak (300gb +!!) and you're fine!
