    Wireless internet Sharing help

    Hi Guys,
I need some help. I have Blueyonder cable internet which comes in on an ethernet cable through a modem to my PC. I have installed a seperate wireless card today so I can share the internet with my laptop which has a wireless card built in. I can't seem to set up a home network. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should be doing?

For 2 computers to network directly, they must be on the same IP range.

On the main computer, with the internet connection, right click on it and set it to share.

Set the IP of the wifi card on the main computer to 192.168.0.1
On the laptop set the IP of the wifi card to 192.168.0.2 and the default gateway to 192.168.0.1

You need to make sure the 2 wifi cards are connected in `ad-hoc` mode, and both on the same SSID.
