    What Dialup ISP to use on an NTL line???

    Right folks.

    What Dialup ISP would you recommend to someone who has an NTL line going into their house?

    They won't move to a BT line so I am stumped as to who to recommend!

    I've tried a couple of companies (plusnet and Virgin.net) but both need a BT line and the guy is loathed to get any other NTL services into his house. Currently the only one that we've found that'll do it is AOL (who they are using at the moment).

    So I am stuck...who else would do it?

    & guess who AOL are using back of that service to manage it, yes it's NTL.
    Basically I think that you are stuck with either NTL via NTL or AOL via NTL ...

    yep welcome to my world mate aol are actualy better than NTL here.. not that my parents will listen so we still get random speed drops from 100 to 10 KBps for no appaarent reason every now and then on our 768kpbs connection.. i never thought i'd be reccomending AOL BUT thier the lesser of 2 evil's
    AMD3000+ ATIX800XL + GBNF44x mobo.. all at stock because they're good enough atm + CA A1 amp-->Mission 73S Loigtech MX1000 + 1GB ram + 1/3 TB HD array
