Anyone on NTL with speed probs?

For the last couple of weeks my NTL connection has dropped to a pitiful
400 to 700 kbps. Untill recently it was about 3.7 Mbps.

I did have a problem with my router which made it drop to 2 Mbps but the
problem I have now is there even when the modem is directly connected.

Websites are slow downloads are hitting around 30 kbps.

I havent contacted NTL and on the Micromart forum it seems someone else is
    having a similar problems.

Anyone elses connection dropped? if so mention roughly where your from.
    me north essex.

    No problems in East London.

No problems in East London at the moment, in fact my NTL connection has 99% of the time always been excellent. Recently it has slowed sometimes as peak times as NTL seem to be introducing traffic shaping to come with the demand.

I think it's hit and miss with NTL. Some areas are always great and others not.

    Where abouts out of interest?

I have been noticing in the evenings slow response times, visiting websites has been a chore in comparison to what its like this time of the day.

I think that they were doing some maintenance or something yesterday affecting Glasgow.
Some but not all sites were v.slow (incl. Hexus for a couple of hours but I think that was their end).
