She's not doing too bad - she has had more of a case of bad nausea than actual sickness. Although that seems to be getting better at the moment.
She is convinced however that it is a boy, and puts a lot of it down to that, as she said that you tend to get worse morning sickness if it is a girl. Most likely not true, but she is sticking to that story
Sorry to hear that your other half isn't doing so well though
Thanks. She's been prescribed antisickness pills so can drink and eat again! Her sister was sick with her boy, and not with her girl so I'm not reading anything into the sickness.
my little girl turned 8 months yesterday! was dieing to get home from work, she can be a bugger tho lol
i will have her sitting on my knee while i play a casual RTS against the AI (COH2) and i wold be playing, she will lean against me and watch all the fire/explosions but then lean forward and start smacking my keyboard! :O lol i was like "ah hell no!" but shes amazing
Happy Grandad, proud to announce arrival of direct blood line Granddaughter number two - Isobel Rose, 7lb 8oz, by emergency C sect at 3PM today. Daughter of James (my youngest son) and his wife Catherine.
All doing very well, spoke to her over mobile and got acknowledging squeak back Needed IVF and took first go, luckily in Swindon they get three shots and 30 more embryos are frozen for future attempts.
She joins a big family : on Sally's side, there are five daughters who have 7 Grandchildren between em, so between Sally and me, we have 9
Congratulations. We are expecting our first in the middle of July. We were on the IVF waiting list but we prescribed clomid? They worked on the first round. She had been suffering very badly from sickness seemingly not keeping anything down apart from greasy takeaway food, but she has been taking gaviscon which has been settling her. She is 17 weeks today.
Dad of 1 son and 1 daughter!
Dad to two boys, one rather daft dog, thirteen fish and one evil tempered moggy.
My boys are 13 and 8, yet we still have a stair gate - to keep the dog and cat apart.
2 daughters 13y and 11y and a son 2y. Can't wait to play games with him
Dad of 4 - 3 boys and a girl 8 7 4 2 - yes my life is insane
Dad of 3, all grown up now, 2 girls and a boy. I became a Grandad for the first time last Saturday. Chuffed beyond belief! :-)
And baby number 1 is finally here (see above)! (Actually born on the 18th of the May but not had a chance to update before now). Baby Ruth was born 9Lbs and is doing well (wish I could say the same for me and mum - never been so tired!)
Congrats cheeseamp - ours decided to stay in for the full term, plus 2 weeks! She was born on the the 27th May weighing 3.82Kg (8.42lbs).
Everything kind of came at once (new house and new baby), so trying to juggle house and baby - definately very tiring. But at least on the plus side I get better broadband here (74/18)
Congratulations yourself! You're brave moving and having a child at the same time. We moved a year ago and I don't think I could have coped with both! Back at work today after 3 weeks off - i'll be glad for the rest...
Wow. Congrats!
I hope you catch up on sleep a little - you'll need it! Hopefully you don't have much in the way of boxes left to unpack?
We ended up doing the same for our first, but it really helped, as we were moving out of a cold and dark terraced house into a light one. We had a whole load of people help us move, and it was only across town, so we were done by mid afternoon
