I would thoroughly urge you to get a decent case and sacrifice the corsair PSU which is serious overkill anyway.

    How about this
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

£13 more for the combo but you get a 550w modular PSU which is next to silent and great quality ( this is not generic rubbish you get in typical case/psu combos) and a case which is very quiet and really great qaulity.
It's a bit better than the antec sonata III

This RAM will save you £6 and will be just as good as the OCZ

Ok thanks for the advice, don't really like the look of the other antec though. Here's my final selection, decided to stop spending so much time thinking about it and just order the damn thing.

    Antec Sonata III 500 £78
    Abit Dark Raider £58
    E2220 £52
    4gb DDR2 £60
    320gb Spinpoint £45
    Evga 8800GT 512mb £136
    Vista HP SP1 64bit £58

= £499.66 delivered (cheating a bit cos i already have monitor, dvd drive, mouse+keyboard)

I'll upgrade the cpu in a few months if i need to.

    Cheers.

Does it actually make sense getting an E2220? The FSB is not even getting near 300Mhz, that won't challenge the RAM at all, no?

You certainly will never get anywhere near PC6400 speeds with that chip no. You can save £10 and get the E2160.. it will overclock to the same sort of speeds as the E2220 anyway.. there's just a bit more certainty in the E2220 as it's already 2.4Ghz which isn't bad if you get a lemon.
