Is there anything as quiet as the P182 that gives better cooling, or as cool as the 900 but doesn't looks as "gamer"?

A few people may suggest the 1200 but that does like kind of..gamery
Although there is the coolmaster cm-690 - alot of people say this has better cooling then the 900 from what I have read.
Have a butchers at some of Lian Li's offerings.
The V1000Z looks nice and I am partial to the A10B but moogle has persuaded me to get the Antec 1200...function over form on that one.
tbh just look at any case by a good manufacturer, pick one you like the look of, then google reviews of the case to see the inside layout, cooling ability etc.
In my opinion any realitively modern case will already have good cooling and should be pretty quiet (if not, then just replace the fans). It really just depends on the layout and your own aesthetic preference. Things to think about include; placement of psu, harddrive cage placement, tool-less design, number of 5.25" bays, windows, number of fans, whether you would want to expand to an internal water cooling system, etc
On a side note, if big bonus isnt an issue then get something by Silverstone or Lian Li. They have some beatiful cases; TJ-07, TJ-09 and V2000 series <3
Lian Li make some beautiful cases from the point of view of build quality, but I remain unconvinced by their thermal and aureal performance.
I was looking at the Silverstone TJ-10, which looks quite good from a cooling POV. Not sure how it fares on the noise side except it should be better than the TJ-09 due to the front door.
Ideally I'd like something with the looks and noise qualities of the P182, the cooling of the 900, and the build quality of Lian Li/Silverstone. Does such a beast exist?
With the optional fans in place on the P182 it stays very cool indeed giving the gfx a direct feed of fresh air and obviously the CPU is taken care of by it's two extractors.
The CM-690 works very well but certainly doesn't have the build quality of the silverstone and lags behind the P182 as well.
My mates TJ-09 seems to be very quiet these days, he doesn't use especially quiet fans either so with a bit of work I think the TJ-09/10 is the case that best suits you.
Personally I'd get either the P182 if noise is the major concern but you still want decent cooling, or the CM-690 if cooling is major concern but still want it to be very quiet.
Your case can look like this too...
... If you get the antec p18 2.
You could always go for the P190 looks like a P182 (except the bloody huge fan on the side) has the same sound deadening (apart from the bloody great big fan on the side) and has loads of room for anything you could ever want to put in it and plenty of cooling due to (you guessed it) the bloody great big fan on the side.
Personally I would be looking at Silverstone probably a Tj-09 or TJ-10 or maybe if the TJ-07 if your feeling really flush, or the TJ-03 which is much older but still looks amazing.
Coolermaster 690 Dominator I like this case and price and quality.

Actually it's reported to rattle with a fan in it's side panel, but with this fan moved to the bottom of the case the temps are as good if not improved due to the bottom to top air flow and it's damn near silent
The 690 also has the P182's cable management system
Anything mechanical will cause vibrations throughout a chassis, which causes friction at all contact points, thin panels with little structural rigidity will cause resonance, little bits of rubber at contact points and stiffer panels go a long way to improve the overall acoustic properties of a chassis, sadly it's not all that expensive to do either.
CM690 side fan is fixable, just unscrew the fan to give it slightly more gap between fan and side panel.
I use my own 140mm fan and silicon washers, no vibration or rattling at all. Same goes for the other stock fans, no issues, though I've replaced them with my own (S-Flex, Yate Loon, Zalman F3 combination)
I suppose the same is true for most cases. You can do better by replacing the stock fans. Is there any case that uses really good fans as default?
