Re: I built a BEAST PC and I need your opinion

    Memory 8 GB ( 4 x 2 GB ) - FB-DIMM - DDR II - 800 MHz / PC2

    2GB in the GPU's = 2GB left for XP

Vista 64 would be better but not with that sound card
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Re: I built a BEAST PC and I need your opinion

that was very harsh Muska.. how do you, or we, know that sephir12 hasn't just won the lottery and is genuinely asking us to see if that PC spec was worth it.. incredibly bad timing if it is a Vadim PC though.. a sudden influx of money makes people do mad things you know - hence my £4k surround system..

I prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt.. hence my crysis challenge post - i was feebily trying to convince someone not to go mad on an expensive PC upgrade when a crapped out 7 year old slightly melted PC will run crysis perfectly well (subjective depending on your point of view, I'm happy running nearly everything in low detail and I notice the upgrade more the biger the gap inbetween PCs)..

your post sounds more like crap though - jumping to conclusions without knowing the full details.. calm down, YOU may end up being banned for verbally insulting other hexus members..

Re: I built a BEAST PC and I need your opinion

I'd love to have the dual GTX 280s, personally. The rest...eh, don't need it. ^_^ Especially for CPUs, I'd wait for Nahalem...early reports look very good. The rest of my rig I honestly wouldn't change (except maybe replacing my two 250GB hard drives in RAID 0 for two 1TB ones to RAID0...if nothing else so I have room for all my games *and* backing up my entire CD collection in lossless WMAs/FLACs/WAVs...

I'm sure the BEAST computer guys would make a Skulltrail system for you if you asked; where are you buying the system from Sephir12?

hi stevie lee i've nothing against honest hexus members, but you all know deep inside that i'm probably right. i like hexus cause here people try to help, some of them really care and feel good about it, but no one whose won a lottery would come to brag on hexus with the first post and then not even bother to answer a single post i don't even feel angry that you edited my post and it probably was to harsh, i just can't believe some people are so naive so i tell you what - if he provides any proof he's purchased a system like that i'd personally apologize to him and everyone who believed he was honest from the start but if we don't get any confirmation say within 48 hours you never touch my posts again and use the report button yourself, (let the mods deal with it) deal?

And by what means? It's only good there are so many people here that take you serious and are willing to help you whatever nonsense you might post.

Taking that away, you will get just another random forums which will slowly render useless over time, I'm glad this forums has this and by means, should remain.
