    Well, Plextor *used* to be good. I dunno about now, though...I haven't looked at their wares in years. I went with Lite-On, personally.

    Plextor started to go downhill about 2-3 years ago......they were the best, now they just prop the rest up.

    Seemed like they were never the same once SCSI started going out of favor.

    due to where i work - at shopmobility - dealing with the kind of people i do, i tend to just accept them for who they are and don't jump to conclusions about anything. i used to, but not anymore - it was a lesson i learned the hard way - dont want to say any more about it..

    and i kind of think you are right in what you are trying to say, I just would never say it on an open forum.. but each to their own..

    I am a little naive though, so you got me there..

    It is a brand for those who are wondering. I bought the pc from BEAST computers (not the scam company). Thank you all for making suggestions to the build. (Even the inpolite ones). I will be back tomorrow with some benches to show you.
