About LinkBacksRecently my Antec Truepower Trio 650W PSU has developed a quiet repeating ticking sound and I'm guessing its the fan, is this something to be worried about? I don't want my PSU potentially frying all my PC components.
Recently my Antec Truepower Trio 650W PSU has developed a quiet repeating ticking sound and I'm guessing its the fan, is this something to be worried about? I don't want my PSU potentially frying all my PC components.
have a look inside (i.e. peer through the fan mesh and see if you can see and wires getting in the way, if you can, then get a cable tie or somesuch and poke it out of the way
just be careful if you use a metal object as the caps will retain some juice for a while...

Hehe well I'm pretty sure it was the PSU, however today it wasn't anywhere near as audible, so I think I'll just keep an eye on it (or an ear) and hopefully it won't reoccur.
