If you get a customer, or an employee, who thinks he's Charles Bronson, take the butt of your gun and smash their nose in.

i really think you'll stand 0 chance of 'raping the 3dmark servers', i doubt you'll be in the top 20 with that system, i suggest your money might be better spent on a more sensible system, rather than one you'll require a whole desk to have setup and g-clamps holding it together, just my opinion.

from the sounds of youroriginal post you are building this pc to compete in 3d mark, and if that is what you want to do, then that's just dandy with me. i wasn't trying to be snide, i'm trying to helpfully suggest that i very much doubt the system there you have listed will compete in the top 10/20, and i wouldn't want you dissapointed that you'd spent all that money and weren't able to achieve what you had hoped. i'll happily give you my opinions on what system specs i think would be able to compete, but do realise that the guys with the top scores put a lot of hard work into their rigs as well as money, and they've got a lot of experience at it too.

edit: you'll need some kind of rentention mechanism to hold the evaporator head of the prometia to the gpu block, the hold down mechanism they come with are designed for the cpu, so you'll have to contruct you own if you want to hold it to the gpu.

Fondie, dont be so foolish into thinking that the sole purpose is to be '1337' in 3d mark. that is a bonus, the system is being built for pure fun and experimentation also for which should last a while or at least be capable for a good while.

Your remarks about not competing are also unwelcomed because you do not know, your going off your own opinion. opinions are constantly wrong, exaggerated and don't relate to facts.

lol, ok, you asked for feedback on your chances. i don't think i was being foolish in saying one of your main aims was 3dmark, that's the way it appeared to me in your original post, i'm sure you can see it could have be construed as such, a case of crossed wires prehaps.

i'm sure you will get lets of fun out of it, and my opinion is probably wrong as to your 3dmark chances, and it's your thread, so i shall not further comment.
