I shouldn't think Cray care much about what happens to it one they've sold it- aren't they helping the Chinese with that Red Storm thingy?

Someone sold a smaller Cray from 1996 or so on Ebay a few months back. It was still working, but you needed a 3-phase power supply to run the thing IIRC.

pity the alphas are surface mount - but there are still a few AS4100's floating around ebay... even then if you can get a cray chassis, and a programmable lcd and any kind of machine - have a glowing monstrosity in the basement drawing kilowatts of power MUWHAHAHAHAHA... groovy.
