This is probably due to the program ending and then gathering your pc specs when its back at its idle or less clocked speed.

Interestingly, to me at least, my FX6300 @ 4.3GHz is thoroughly beaten by HalloweenJack's Phenom II X6 at 3.6 GHz in the physics test. I guess the physics test is heavily FPU intensive and so Vishera is hit hard by having half the number of FPUs, despite the clockspeed advantage.

Bit of an improvement from X4500, ehLess than 1000 points behind the GTX 525m, not a bad showing from Intel (although compare the graphics scores and it's not so good - the better physics score from the i7 pulls the overall score up a bit).
Can't wait to do the HD4200 + Phenom II X4 and A6-3670k now

I'm guessing the benchmark is better where AMD is concerned given the score difference between myself and Phage.

Nar, mine craps out @ around +170 (so 1228 from stock of 1058) on the core depending on the benchmark.

Cracking OC at 5Ghz ! You should beat me on the physics tests by a long shot. I might have to revisit the GPU
