    Post Help me overclock

There's about 4-5 more days left til I receive my package I ordered:

    -Asus A8N SLI Deluxe
    -Athlon 64 3000+ Venice Core
    -1GB Corsair DDR
    -256DDR PCI-E GeForce6600
    -300GB Maxor DiamondMax ATA133

I'm going to use this PC for gaming and as storage for my DVR site. My case comes with a 420W power supply. I'm going to have about 2 case, 1 HD & 1 PCI cooling fans. Is the power enough?

Next, how do I overclock? I've never done it before This is my first PC change since my 800MHz P3....(6 years!!) Someone help me out.

You won't need a 600w psu. Go for a reliable well known make between 400-500w.

I can vouch for Tagan their 480w model has solid rails. I'm sure others will post their preference.

Search these forums and you'll find loads of psu threads.

a branded 350w would be fine.

try antec or tagan or something.

i wouldnt trust that one with the case though.

The chances of getting a decent 400+W PSU in a $36 dollar case are next to infinitesimal.
You are probably looking at $80-100 for a decent PSU.

Any decent brand that is at least 400W should be fine - I went for the Tagan 480W.
