    oooh got my baby back yesterday, with a dvd writer installed and an extra months warranty too

    the medion does have a lovely screen. Mine has been working excellently with the extra 512MB and the new Intel Pro Wireless card.

    i sold mine to someone on here for the same price as i paid for it. i'm not too fussed as long as i don't lose money. I just like to play with things.

    I like to play with things but couldn't ignore the £200 profit...if I had sold it to someone on here it'd be at cost...'cos we're like that!

    Good to know you can get c£450-£500 on e-bay for it though..

    Has anyone managed to run any distro of linux on these? I can't get SuSE 9.1 pro to connect to the internet with it.

    The internal wireless doesnt have as good reception as a PCMCIA card. In fact it has half the signal strength! Is this down to the internal antenna or the internal wifi card?
