    E4300 Overclocking Thread

Im interested to know other people's results with these new CPUs.

I went and got one from Scan today and it booted right out of the box @ 3600mhz In fairness, the volts were set to 1.41v, and it wasnt stable, but it looks promising.

It is currently priming at 3240mhz @ 1.3v which is pretty damn good for a £100 quid chip.
    Ram @2.1v
All other voltage set to auto.

Ideally, post your stable results, but also your suicide shots as well and details of your system

    pics and screenies to follow.

Nick and his heatpipe technology eh?

Right, orthos failed at 1.3v (4 hours) and 1.35v (after 9 hours grrr), so Ive just started it again at 1.36v, so fingers crossed.

Temps are 57c fully loaded on both cores.

Ill give it 12 hours and then it having some suicide shots

Am I right in thinking an generic DDR2 6400 ram will be good enough to reach a nice oc with one of these chips?
