Patching up IL2 FB

Hi,

Just got IL2 FB from someone and is trying to patch it up. I download and unzip but the game is still in V1.0?

Can anyone please suggest what to do?

Ermmm you dont say if you have Aces Expasion Pack however if you dont then

Patch 1.21 from 1.0 then 1.22 find them here

Check you're unzipping into the correct folder for the game and not into an 'unzipped' folder.

I have unzipped into the right folder but i still dont get the update to work. I do have a real copy.

I sometime find if you unzip to a folder on desk top then cut and paste in fb folder that will do it

Yeah, I've had to do the old 'unzip' first, then manually copy the files over...

PITA, and I've only had to do it once.... still no idea why it didnt work...

People have been having trouble with the patches on and off for a while, guess its fair to say that no two systems are alike and no two installs are alike too.

Let us know how you get on, maybe give us more info if you're still having trouble and I'm sure some of the wiser ones on here will be able to help.
