We had music by Ludovico Einaudi at ours (worth checking out if you don't know it and like chilled piano music, similar to Michael Nyman). Our friends walked down the aisle to Hoppipola by Sigur Ros - that was a really class tune to walk down the aisle to!

Just got a couple of Ludovico's albums - they are rather excellent.

Re: Non Religious Weddings (registry office) Music Choices

Been married for 3 years now, again registry office over a church wedding. When we asked about writing our own vows we were told they couldnt be religious, but they never said anything about music choices (other than to bring a cd with us which we did )

I think its a little crazy you cant say what you want even if there is religious content, however it didnt spoil our day - and our day was fantastic and the best I could imagine. Next Jan we do it all again when we renew our vows in the States for her family and friends
