    Slight Mistake on My 3XS Slik Order!

    Dear SCAN,

    I'm a new customer who has just hit the Pay Now button for an order of a Fixed Specification Slik system. While configuring my system, I seem to have made a slight mistake by forgetting to check the "*Operating System Not required*" option. I was sure I checked it, but somehow I didn't! I'm unable to log into my account to communicate (I guess because it is new) so I'm hoping a friendly member of staff can help me here on the forum.

    I basically do not need an OS on my system and would like my order altered before building begins. Any information and help on what to do would be greatly appreciated!

    I managed to send an email through SCAN's communication panel last night explaining my problem. I know it's the weekend but I haven't received a reply. I'm a bit concerned, does anyone know if Scan's customer service is responsive? Will anyone take note and contact me soon? Or is there someone I can contact directly?

    I'm disabled so I am unable to use the phone unfortunately.

    Don't worry about it, the email will be picked up on Monday, and the build won't have commenced yet (unless you ordered a while ago?)

    There is plenty of time to remove it, and you have already logged the issue internally

    Thanks TAKTAK. I only placed the order last night, so there should be plenty of time and I'm sure it will be no problem like you say.

    I guess I'm just concerned after having to deal with companies like Dell (who I purchased my last system from), for example , where trying to communicate with them is like banging your head against the wall.

    I'm sure Scan will take note and help me resolve my mistake. They seem to have a good reputation.
