    RMA Over a month at Manufacturers no update

    RMA Number: 227183

    I have called a number of times trying to chase this but have been told conflicting information.

    I was told my graphics card was sent to Asus who confirmed the fault. As I understood it they were replacing the memory (what you told me).

    Now im told that you cant tell where the card is and definately have not recieved it back. It still shows as being with Asus on the tracker so im sure you can understand my confusion.

    After expressing my despair at lack of information and the duration of this RMA I was then advised I could be credited with £80 (I will not go into how insulting this was but feel free to take a look at the specification and purchase price of item).

    Unfortunately I would like to have a working graphics card which matches the specification of the one I purchased from you which has been confirmed to be faulty.

    I am particularly keen to get an update considering both the time it has taken and information I have been given so far.

    All I am asking for is for someone to obtain an eta on when it should be fixed and call me to let me know.

    As this is well over a month long now I dont think it is unreasonable to expect an update.

    Today I was again advised I would get a call back once this was chased.

    I guess again I will not be revieving a call back as it was agreed it would be before close of business today :S

    So im hoping you may be able ot help me from here.

    I have recieved no email.

    I just double checked and my email address on the account details at scan is correct.

    Could you confirm it has been sent to correct email and send again?

    Alternatively you could phone me the number is there also.

    Just to update.

    It seems that an old email address was the cause of some of the communication problems with this RMA.

    Essentially when i have sent queries from the same email address on my account details and asked for you to call me back via telephone (which was agreed) ...instead of calling me back you sent emails to an old email address on the account (or so im told).

    While this goes someway to explain lack of communication it does not really excuse it.

    The simple request to contact me back via telephone which was agreed 3 times would have sorted this potentially much earlier (weeks earlier)?

    I have accepted (although I am not particularly happy with) the resolution of being offered a replacement card. I guess im still annoyed that it feels like I have been, ignored, lied to and treated like an idiot. Repair, Specifics of Repair, Lost, No repair ....part of me would like to chase exactly what has happened with this card but it would be too much of a waste of my time.

    In all fairness the service up to the point of you sending the card to asus was really good but after that, wrong email address or not, it has been really bad.

    Anyways thank you for replying on here and progressing this for me.

    Glad this has been sorted for you now.

    From looking at the original query you e-mailed from a different e-mail address than on your account, we replied to the same e-mail address the query was sent from.

    In this particular query, I can't see any mention to call back rather than e-mail?, was this something you arranged over the phone?
