    DPD Collection

    Good Afternoon

I have been waiting on a parcel from DPD for a couple of days and was wondering if it would be possible to simply collect it from the local depot without it even attempting to be delivered?

There site says you can collect it once a calling card has been left, but they have not attempted to deliver it yet

I have attempted to contact DPD using 08445 560 560, but it just rings and rings with no one answering

Any ideas if this is possible?

yes this is possible, if u look on their website and it says its at the local depo using your tracking then find out which depo it is, and ring them (quick google and there is some lists of numbers). then make sure they have it, and secondly are going to be able to find it when you get there!

make sure you say you want to pick it up and not collection (DPD have a collection service if your sending a product and this will confuse them!)

tell them your consignment number and they should be able to give you a date/time to go in.

warning: if you arrange a pick up through customer services this will not be relayed to the depos(it will only update your tracking on the website) you need to speak to the depo directly if its there.

they told me this also... i heard nothing from them. this was after i went there (arranged a time and day with customer services) but they couldnt find it. three days later i got bored of waiting and rang them back and they said it was ready. and went back and got it!

i hope its not south east depo you have to go to as they are really rude!

if you have the time spare going there to give them a kick in the backside may help them in locating and prioritsing your parcel. other than that its a waiting game.
