    Are DPD definitely collecting this RMA item today? I've tried to contact DPD but I've not had much luck in that.

    Is some one definitely coming today? A DPD van went past at noon, but didn't stop.

    Right then after this thread was ignored, I rang Scan up and was assured that DPD would "definitely" come today to pick it up. So I had someone waiting in all day, and guess what no one came to collect the item.

    I understand that things don't always go to plan, but this is when communication is key, if DPD weren't going to bother turning up it would have been nice to have been informed, rather than just leaving someone waiting in for a non-existent courier. People do have other stuff to be getting on with...they can't be sitting around on the off chance that some one might show up.

    And I thought changing from City Link was a good idea, but at least City Link do seem to manage to show up on the days you expect them

    PS As thread will likely continue to be ignored I'll have to ring Scan at 9 in the morning

    Thanks for that. It's a shame Scan's good service often gets let down by the couriers and other stuff out of their control.

    I have someone in most of today, but they have stuff to do, so likely DPD will come when they have just nipped out for 30mins.

    An update:

    This morning two (or the same one twice) DPD vans were spotted going past. By 4pm, no one had come to collect the item.

    I managed to get hold of someone at DPD and they called the driver, they got back to me and said the driver would be there in 30mins. When the Driver got there, he said the collection wasn't on his job list, and didn't know he was coming to collect the item until he got the phone call.

    Hmm...

    Good Afternoon Wesley,

    Regarding collection <removed>. I spoke to the collection depot twice yesterday. Once at 10:20am and again at 13:10pm. Both times I was assured this would be collected and they advised myself the driver had been contacted. When your customer called the depot may have tracked it with the driver to confirm it was still going to be collected, however the driver was made aware of this much earlier in the day.

    Well it's just arrived at Scan within their ETA window. At least they are bang on with their deliveries

    Credit where credit is due - you received the hard drive at 1249 today, and I received an email at 1340 confirming you had tested and found the fault. I was expecting you to get around to testing it at some point in the next week, considering that I heard you had some RMA delays.

    51 mins is quite impressive

    I'm just wondering if there is any chance of recieving: LN34236, instead of the Corsair F60 again? And I'll pay the few quid difference?

    Right then so I rang you up today, and you confirmed you were sending the SSD to Manchester, and confirmed you had changed the replacement to be sent as a Crucial 64GB C300.

    Now I've just checked the tracking, and the DPD site has the postcode as CH4. Surely you haven't send the SSD there? Especially after checking the address on the phone with you this morning.

    If a Corsair F60 has been sent to CH4 I'll be proper <annoyed>. I've tried to look on your site about info for the the invoice number of the replacement, but there's nothing on there. It doesn't tell me the address you are sending stuff, nor does it tell me what you are sending. All it says is this:
