Have I Received an RMA Board?

    Hi,

On Friday I ordered a Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 motherboard and collected on Saturday. It is a present for Christmas and I can't use it until then. However, my wife has informed me that the box has no selophane wrapping on or any other kind of security seal (I would expect it to have some) and there is a yellow sticker on it with some numbers on.

I'm worried this board is from an RMA and I won't have chance to test until after Christmas as it is a present. We are also expecting a baby over the festive period so I'm not sure when I will get to test. Do I need to log the condition this was received in?

    Thanks.

If in doubt log it and take pictures, someone at Scan will no doubt get to you shortly, it could just be a stock label..

She let me look at it, everything looks new and the label looks like a stock label. Sent an OLQ through just in case with a picture of the label.

    Barry2811,

I have checked this for you, and can confirm that the motherboard with the SCIL number ending 0458 was received from suppliers at the beginning of December and then was allocated to your order on the 17th December.

I can confirm that therefore it is a brand new board which hasnt been sent to any other customer prior to yourself.

    Hope this helps.
