    DOA Asus P6P87

I am yet another victim of a DOA P8P67. It refuses to post. I got it to post once, in the 16 hours I've spent trying to get the thing to work. I have given up on it now, I could have spent those 16 hours doing something far more productive.

Anyway, I've sent an email to scan, under the returns section. I am not sure if this is the correct section? But I haven't received a reply as of yet.
    My order number is: 00*****I

This is my first time using scan, and at the moment I can't fault the service. It's a well known problem with this board, I just figured that I would be in the 99% who had no problems.

Is it possible that you can ship a new motherboard out today, and get the courier to swap it for the DOA board? I really don't want to wait until next week, as I need to get this build done asap for my university work. I'm stuck on a netbook at the moment.

Or, if that isn't possible, should I order another board today, and get a refund when you receive the other board back?

I would go with another manufacturer but asus offer the only matx board at the moment :/

    Hope you can help me.

    Andy

    Re: DOA Asus P6P87

Rather than waiting for customer services to sort this out - I have placed an order for a new motherboard and paid for saturday delivery.

Just out of interest, is there no way you can offer a discount on saturday delivery for hexus/avforums members? If we get free delivery, then wouldn't be be able to pay the difference, for saturday delivery?

I am now £8.99 down, and the only reason I chose scan was because they were the cheapest :/

Second board worked perfectly (well, it wouldn't boot at first, but I took one stick of ram out and then it was fine. Popped the other stick back in and its been brilliant since.

Still waiting to hear back from scan though, but it is sunday I guess

Still waiting for a reply from customer service. They seem to be distinctly lacking "after sales" support.

Come on please guys, I can't really afford to stand out of £100.
