    Not Impress with Scan

    Hi,
I raised an RMA last week and got sent two RMA numbers 238499 and 238543. I contacted the returns department via email on saturday about this and asked them to close the second RMA number sent which was 238543, received no reply, presumed that they would follow my instructions.
So yesterday I sent back order number E1584631 on RMA 238499 also contacted the returns department to tell them.and it was delivered today and signed for by 'broadbent'. I thought I would check my RMA status and when I checked RMA 238499 cannot be found so checked 238543 and guess what, it was there! So the RMA team haven't done what I asked and have closed the RMA 238499.
So the expensive monitor I sent back for a refund is not attributed to my name. I have tried ringing but cannot get through, sent a query (OLQ895997) also, which as of yet has received no reply.
Could you please look into this for me, because if the RMA 238499 is not associated with my account I will not get the refund.
    What a mess!
Please sort it out for me and quickly please.

If you received two RMA numbers then either you raised them both or someone else may have mistyped an e-mail address.

If you raised them both and could search for them both at some point, then they must be attributed to you in some way I would think..

The point is I asked them to cancel the second RMA number sent and to leave the original number open as that would be the RMA number that I would be using and they have done the exact opposite.

    Re: Not Impress with Scan

    Hi,

Both RMA numbers relate to the same item, the reason for the numbers was because you sent in two queries for the same item, just dis-regard the later one as i have now cancelled this OLQ.

    Many Thanks

    Re: Not Impress with Scan

    Thanks for the reply Steve,
I cannot track rma 238499 is this the number I should disregard and use the other?
This was the rma number I used to return the item, which as stated was delivered to scan earlier today.

    Shaolin Chicken

To be honest mate you can disregard either, if you can track the latter then just use that one, as the other one will expire anyway,

    Hope this helps

    Re: Not Impress with Scan

Neither RMA number is showing that Scan received the item yesterday.
I will rest easier knowing that it has been booked in and either RMA is updated.
How long does this process take?
