    RMA issues

    Re RMA 237635 and RMA 238265

    So firstly, RMA 237635; I have received the refund for the heatsink, but have not yet received the refund of my postage (which I was advised I would get once I advised how much it cost - i advised you of this in my email of 22/01).

    Secondly, RMA 238265; The motherboard has been with you (according to DPD) since 28/01. It was marked as received on 02/02, only I suspect because I sent a chase email, and has not changed since. When am I likely to receive a replacement?

    Any assistance which can be provided re the above would be gratefully received.

    So; I have just spoken with Mark from the returns dept, who advised that they will arrange for a replacement to be sent - so fingers crossed, that should be it sorted.

    I'll update if and when I receive the new board.

    Scan have advised that there is no fault with the motherboard (I am sceptical, but what can I do?), but have kindly offered to return it to me without charge.

    I will update once I have received and tried the motherboard with their suggested remedy for the problem.

    Yeah, so the motherboard worked with the RAM in the A1 + B1 config suggested by the guy in the returns dept (contrary to the manual). So all is good I guess. Had an issue with my SSD which was sorted pretty quick too - so all round pretty good service from Scan I have to admit. Although, I never did get that refund for the postage of the heatsink (RMA 237635)...
