    RMA Alternatives

    Hi there,

I began to action RMAs when I bought my rig a few months ago but it took so long to go through I was fed up of waiting and built my computer anyway. I was wondering if there is anything we can do that doesn't involve me disasembling my system to wait for parts.

I reported my bitfenix survivor case damaged-on-delivery and problems with my 23" 3D LG monitor, I have since then also had massive problems with what I assume is my SSD. The monitor in the mean time has been fine since the initial problems.

I was wondering if I can instead of getting RMAs put through, instead get support from you guys in regards to replacement parts for the case rather than me taking my computer apart to rebuild it in a ne chassis (the broken bits are non-functional curved case covers) and possibly a new SSD sent to me so I can instantly re-install windows on it then send mine back the day after. This would mean zero downtime for me as I am a huge nerd and use my computer whenever I am home.

(Alternative option would be for you to see if OCZ have any news on why my SSD seems to be 'swithcing off' after a few hours - whether it can be fixed by firmware updates (which i've been unable to do) etc - which would hopefully mean I dont have to send it back at all)

Please log this through our OLQ system, for Returns to look at and respond for you.

We cannot however, send out advance replacements, so the SSD would need to come back first, get tested and then replaced.

But please log this through OLQ for further assistance.
