RMA Procedure for no faults found

Hello, i'm curious about the procedure taken when a product returned to scan is taken as in working condition. Such as the postage cost and turn over estimate. Despite this the product which is a PSU is faulty as the system has been tested with an alternative of the same power on top of that it did cost above £20 to return which is not ideal at all. When the power supply is eventually returned i will get it looked at elsewhere however if additional costs to return it occur then i won't bother paying them and just leave it with scan and take all future business of the technical kind elsewhere.

Hi, I cannot answer your question, but I am going through a similar process and so far the PSU has been found not faulty. I considered buying another PSU to test but I have agreed to send them the rest of the parts (CPU, Memory, GPU, Motherboard) for them to test together.

I still think the problem is the PSU though, what were the symptoms with your PSU problem? In my case the computer reboots randomly.

    Good luck with your RMA!

They also told me that my PSU had no fault but i decided to do a little testing of my own and borrowed one from college with the same power supply and it worked perfectly.

Before that though as soon as i turned on my computer the fans all came on for about two seconds then just shut off and the time decresed the more i tried to turn it on until eventually it didnt do anything.

Re: RMA Procedure for no faults found

Just had my "No Faults Found" conversation with scan. To get your goods back you have to pay £15 + £10 +£10 (collection + test + delivery), they also say they refund all the costs if it is faulty so in your case it shouldn't cost you anything.

Let us know how you get on.
