So will you actually be able to confirm and guarantee that you have G0 stpping Q6600s when you get them?
When is it likely that you will be getting the next batch?
According to the Intel product change notification from April the G0 stepping Q6600 will first be available from July 16 2007 and customers/retailers must be ready to receive them by 27 July 2007; so if a new batch is expected next week they will most likely be G0 stepping.

Ordered mine a week or so ago from Scan (thanx Paulm), but got no game
I ordered now because it came with game actually rang customer services to make sure it did.....
Was told on the phone id get a copy of supreme commander plus cod 2 because of using the today only offer...
Can someone confirm whats happening Ill be very disappointed if neither comes with it almost to the point id send it back and wait for the GO version.
The Q6600 comes with supreme commander like i was told on the phone ?
Temp doesn't bother me too much talking about minuscule amounts so I just ordered a good cooler with it doubt id overclock past 3Ghz and since it came with two games how could i pass on that but now....
Anyone know or can confirm what you get with it ?
Cheers,
fishy
If you purchase the CPU from TodayOnly - it comes with COD2 - while stocks last.
Likewise, it also comes with the game that is also bundled with the cpu normally .... while stocks last.
Guys these G0's are getting overclocked on XS and are really showing to be nothing special... 3.2ghz if you're lucky in many cases.
