    A little annoyed...

    I ordered from Scan on Tuesday at about 2:30pm for delivery today and they haven't even picked it yet, this is the last time I order from Scan especially seen as the components are urgently for a client and I had to pay for the delivery because my Hexus discount didn't work (Yes I did have 25 posts st this point). I know it's Christmas but to not even have the picking sorted out by now is unacceptable. Also looking through this forum I can see that other people have had next day delivery (which I wasn't even offered) and they have had exactly that, what gives?

    Invoice Number: 00E1000762
    (It is under the client's name not mine by the way.)

    As it was said in another thread, if I need urgency in the future Scan won't be the first place I look.

    ...and it's not as if you'll deliver it on a Saturday either seen as that costs a stupid amount.

    There isn't an option to select next day delivery...

    Your items are guaranteed to be delivered the next day once the items have been picked and city link have picked them up!

    It all depends how busy they are... if they can get it out for next day they will! It is Christmas just now... the chances of getting it next day is pretty slim...

    It will also depend on which warehouse your items are located... if your item has to be picked from several warehouses then this will no doubt increase the time in picking and despatching the order!

    Well just looked at their prices... a generic Geforce 8800GTX is £300 (inc Vat), at Scan it is £234 (inc Vat)...

    Looks a little expensive... but I am not the one that will be paying for overpriced components

    Did you call them up and place the order?

    If my hexus didn't work I would have called them and Scan would have applied the free delivery to my order... or I am sure they would have...
