    It would be interesting to start a thread to see how many people are actually getting this issue.Mine runs idle at around 21c and load at 53c under 1.425v. At 4ghz and 1.3v it was only 38c at load.

    Yes, we will continue to sell these CPU's becuase they are operating within specification and from the information i have seen they are not performing anywere near the top end of their tolerance indeed on average they are operating around 10-20c lower.

    I beleive this thread has reached the end of it's life and will now be closed.

    Further to Wesley's post, there are still bios updates being introduced to support the Wolfdale core CPU's and this should resolve the majortiy of the issues people currently are having.
