Question Confused - gesture of goodwill email ?

    Quote from Scan email

" As a gesture of goodwill in light of the problems you had, we'd like to offer you a free standard UK carriage if you are able to come back to us again. To redeem this discount please ring your next order through to our Sales Dept " etc etc etc

I'm confused as i contacted queries to see if i can only use this via telesales and if i still had a minimum order before i could redeem it just to make sure i was being offered a goodwill gesture that was different from the limitations of the free carriage we already have with the forum and i just got a reply from queries that states

" You would need to phone through to our sales team and quote the reference and they will see that you are due free carriage on your next order, To claim your free carriage you will need to spend at least £20,

Thanks for the offer but how is that any different from the normal free carriage at least with the online order there is no phone charges , Hope it doesn't sound ungrateful i'm just somewhat confused.

It is usually aimed at people who have paid for carriage and have had problems.

By being an active member of the Hexus forums you get this on every order, subject to the same conditions.

    Ice Tea,

Hexus free carriage is limited, however, as it is a gesture that has been offered to you, in light of problems, there is NO minimum order value.

The reply you received via OLQ must be by a member of staff getting confused.

Please PM me your OLQ number and i will update the notes to ensure your gesture is provided whatever the order value is.

Re: Confused - gesture of goodwill email ?

    Question from PM

"Do i need to order via Telesales or can i order online ? If telesales is my only option would there be a telesales handling charge for taking the order as some companys charge a few quid for using a debit card via telephone for some reason."

No handling charge, you will need to place the order via pnone and memtion the special circumstances with the reference number we provided
