    problem with rma

    hi would like some advise regarding a psu my son purchased from scan approx 3 weeks ago please , he purchased a psu ezcool 700 watt for his system which was received and i fitted for him everthing worked fine for approx 2 weeks then pc would not start completely dead so checked all connections were fine, changed mains lead etc tried everything. finally decided to replace psu with original one and pc booted up fine np. swapped new one back in again still no power completely dead . My son rang scan and was given an rma psu was picked up and when he rang scan couple days ago was told that psu works fine and that he would have to pay £35.00 testng fee and £15.00 pp to return a psu that WAS FAULTY

    I was hoping that someone from scan may have given a little advice on the problem i am having but as they fail to even answer emails perhaps thats to much to ask.

    hi thanks for replying.

    I am not able to telephone during week days due to working same hours as your opening hours and no access to telephone

    rma is *Edit*

    just got off the telephone and spoke to Mick (very pleasant and helpfull ) who has said he will ask for the psu to be re tested on monday and hopefully sorted

    still unnable to get to a telephone during opening hours would appreciate if someone from Scan could let me know what stage we are at here thanks

    I would like to point out that as you CLOSE at 5.30 I am not able to telephone YOU that why I have asked for someone from Scan to post here regarding the problem with my purchase from you . I am quite aware that I can track my RMA but as it says the same as it has said before my telephone conversation with one of Scan staff ( Mick ) last Saturday then i assume that no retest was done and we are no further forward.

    hi thanks for advice lol dont have access to a landline during day wont call with mobile as it cost more than price of psu with the time spent on hold Scan dont reply to email so will phone tomorow have appointment in local trading standards tomorow morning fed up with Scan and there WE TESTED IT AND IT WORK'S ROUTINE the psu was and is faulty and was not fit for the purpose it was supplied for SALE OF GOODS ACT 1979
