Exactly, and they will get hot, which is why it's not recomended. Other option is to get a couple of drive coolers i the optical drive bays at the top.

Trouble is, i need to fit min 9 HDs in...i can fit 7 in by converting 3 of the 5.24 jobs with those £2 rails... but where do the other 2 go.. unless into the floppy drive areas.... got the same CPU cooler as you... would of been better if they moved the extra drive cage more towards the 5.25 bays... im lacking a drill to make my own holes...

External? Possible DAS or just using caddies with two of the SATA ports onto a PCI bracket out of the front of the case?

External is the easy solution must be something i can do... its all going to raided up so not all the HDs will be in use at any time.. hmmm

Coming to think of it i could use them as hotswaps.. one for each raid array.. now thats an idea!...

if u were to RAID all drives then all drives would be active all of the time, u r after all stripping data.

That aside my experience with the Eclipse is with 5 drives in the lower cage, does not impact airflow as the gaps between drives are fine. The two floppy drive slots do not take hard drives without modifcation as the holes do not line up. Also like previously mentioned the clip on holder that goes under the PSU will take 3 drives but that depends on ur CPU HSF.

Can anyone from Scan have a look at this for me, it sounds madnes to sell a WI-FI board that does not include an antennor. Unles it does not need one.

My delivery date is Monday but order has not yet been picked. Is that usual for Monday delivery's as I would expect that Citylink would have the goods already.

Can you PM me the details?

If it hasn't gone, I'll chase it up for you - and if it has gone, I'll see why you didn't get the confirmation.

OK, I have not received any emails stating any delays (the only thing out of stock when I ordered was the E6600 and I was assured that this was back in stock regularly). If there is anything out of stock I wouldn't mind knowing as I can swap it for an item in stock if need be. Order still not picked for todays delivery according to emails and my account information. So I am a little confused, do I need to swap an item or can I expect a delivery today?

Thats true but when I phoned customer services I was told that they had arrived that day, and that there was a very regular supply of them.

Thanks John but Paul already has it (and I am sure he is dealing with it), just want to know whats holding up the order so I can either remove it or swap it.

Hmm, I had a call from my credit card company yesterday asking me to confirm that I had actually authorised your withdrawls. Although according to my account and emails received the payments have already been authorised.
