Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

Wish had seen this thread before I purchased, well cannot really say 'purchased' as they just took my money without having stock, although showing stock.

    Order Pending for 4 days.

I phone up, "We sold the items we had instock before we could send yours out"

    Few days later...

I phone up, "We will call you back, cannot check if your item has been sent yet, as we are moving warehouses" = that means they are moving stuff from a mates shed I imagine.

    I wait some hours...

I phone them up, "We havn't recieved stock of your time, so we cannot send it yet"

I tell them to cancle my order.

I wait in hopes of getting my Paypal refunded.

Do your self a favour and Stay away from this lot.

As said in a previous post, I have shopped for many years online, and this is the worst service I have received by far.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

Just before Easter 2009 i ordered some parts for my case and no problem at all getting them even know they had to send from UK to DK it took about 7 days, I also wrote them to ask a few questions and got a rapid reply same day.

I was thinking oh **** when I was reading this, but honest I have nothing to complain about I even did a second order and ill keep you updated on it cheers.

"Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay" - I'd feel a lot safer buying from their eBay shop & paying via PayPal. Things seem a lot better, now that PP offer 'full' coverage, no?

14 -ves & 13 neutrals vs 1668 +ves in the last month, doesn't seem too bad at all. And most, if not all, with a gripe would've received a refund anyway.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay? Ebay suspension forum

There is a forum I found on the internet that is free, and helps with Ebay, PayPal, business and the law. Just post any question, the experts will answer it if it has not already been answered!

The forum has a lot of expert advice on it. modeeworld dot com I found advice there about how to avoid EBAY suspensions, get past PayPal limitations, also lots of detailed help on creating your own business, getting past trademark violations, VERO and lots more. Plus general advice on how best to sell on EBAY, what sells the best, how to get the best price for your product, really everything related to EBAY and internet business.

Also advice about how EBAY really works and how PayPal really works. The inside scoop.

Beautiful forum. I was made a moderator of the forum and I love it!

I have used them in the past and as far as I recall no problems. Shame they don't include the Vat in their prices rather than add it on in the end. It would make the final total much clearer

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

ohhhhh no, i think i might have made a mistake ordering from them after looking at this thread.
I ordered a XFX Geforce 9600GT 512mb graphics card from here on Thursday night at around 11:15pm.
This card is supposed to be a birthday present to me from my parents and i was hoping to have gotten it by now after paying £5.00 on royal mail 1st class recorded delivery but today i've had no parcel. I really wish I had read this thread before i placed the order and to make things worse i forgot what e-mail i used to place the order so i can't log on, i have no parcel number to track the thing and i paid with a card rather then paypal.
I dreading this now, birthday is tomorrow and I can't see it arriving.
Order was placed on the website rather than ebay shop, emailed them this morning, not sure what to expect.

Ahh, nothing more annoying than an ambiguous 'in stock' label.

Well...what should i say? i don't have the card used with me or any proof what so ever that i have actually made an order. Plus from all this it seems that the people you call can be pretty bad. I'm dreading it O_o

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

    Naaaaah. It will be fine.
Remember who's in charge. You are. You're the one who paid.
Why do you not have the card ? Is it your parents ? Don't want to come clean ?

RELAX - We (and they) are here to help. Panicing will only make you feel like crap. Have a cup of tea.

    1) Get evidence of the payment made. If you don't have the card to hand, get it. All you need are the numbers. Also the transaction will be recorded in the bank statement. Nothing is lost forever.

    2) Call them. They should be able to find the details of your order based on your name and address, and time of order. If they can't - go to the bank and cancel the charge.

    3) If they can tell them the delivery has not happened, and give them a deadline to deliver. 24 hours saqy. If still not received - cancel the charge at the bank.

    4) Receive card or Re-order elsewhere.

Yes you may have to get help to do this, as it sounds like it's not your bank account. But it's OK to get the bank account holder to help you. (Unless you stole it) Banks have policies on stuff being bought online, but you have to act fast.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

Alright that sounds good, thanks for the help
Ohh and the whole card thing, no i didn't steal it it is my parents though and they don't get back until 5pm but i think the place closes then so will i still be able to call?.
I don 't think we have recieved any bank statments yet and i'm not even sure if the card has been charged yet but i''ll make sure to check it out

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

    Good.
Their opening hours should be on the web site. Most places man the phones later than 5pm to catch sales after work. If you are concerened about the call, get your parents to call for you.
Remember to be polite, but firm. You placed the order and they haven't delivered when they said they would. Explain that it is a gift and the deadline is important.
I forget - has the ETA already expired ? If it has, and they are unable to find your order, cancel it immediately through the bank.

Remember that this is not the end of the world. Very few people get through life without being ripped off at least once. I know I have - heh, that was for a whole system, and I was <cough>a few</cough> years older than you.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

    Well I have an update!

I sent them an e-mail this morning and i got one back the same day WoO!! I guess they are getting a little better.
Well basically the e-mail explained that their suppliers have given them the wrong products and said that the card is no longer in production (which i have heard before belive it or not)
They recomended a Jetway 9600GT saying that its pretty much the same card, I agreed to have that card instead though its around £10 diffrent. I guess they're expecting me to pay that extra and not give it to me as a way of apoligizing ¬¬
Anyway the problem is that i can't find any reviews for the Jetway 9600GT, only a 2gb version of it though i'm getting the 512mb version.

Ahh well, still have to see if I actually get this card before i make any decisions.

Glad to hear it, but don't let up on them. I would seriously keep at them on the delivery date.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

It seems all good. I've just been talking to that Alex guy again. My order has been changed to the Jetway card and has been shipped. He said it will be here tomorrow morning, then i got a reply e-mail from after i agreed to having the Jetway card and that said i would get it tomorrow aswel.
I'm pretty happy I was thinking i wouldn't see the thing for about a month after reading this thread XD
I even recommened to Alex that a live chat feature should be added to the site and he said it was something he had been thinking about. That would be able to help everyone
