Its hit and miss with them in my experience. But there are a few too many bad experiences if your check the online community. Which indicates they definetly have issues, usually after sales side of thing.
Personally id say there are enough others online who do great deals.

Bought a Senseo coffee machine from them a few months back. 6 missing coffee packs.

They don't reply to eNote, EVER!!!. Their telephone always cuts off.

I had to use howtocomplain.co.uk which brought a rapid responce from them and promptly sorted things out.

I have used Ebuyer every few weeks for over 4 years, I must have spent £50,000 to £70,000 with them. Obviously I have had a few frustrating moments with them, but always they have sorted the problems out with no great effort on my part. Yes it may take 10 minutes to get to speak to a CS agent, this is not unusual nowadays with any company, but when through to CS, I will not be fobbed off with `If you send a enote`........... or `you must re-order on the web`.. I always insist that the agent stays on the phone whilst I am doing this, so that they can pick it up their end straight away and action/approve it immediatly. I know life shouldn`t be like this, but to getthings done you have to work the system. Lets face it, ebuyer is a victim of its own success, they are nearly always the cheapest, and have one of the greatest ranges. They get more complaints than others because they have more customers.
I have tried other suppliers, but always seem to gravitate back to ebuyer. I suppose that it`s better the devil.......... Anyway, rambling on, they are no better or worse than most.

They are cheap and cheerful...if you buy stuff from Netto/Lidl/Aldi it's exactly the same...

And in the long view they are generally Ok, I've had about £10k+ stuff from them over a period and they are as good as most cheap e-tailers...Aria.co.uk are better but generally more expensive

I have placed over 30 orders with Ebuyer over the last 3 years or so, and have had no problems. A couple of items didn't worked, but I RMA'd them with no fuss. And being able to choose a delivery date is very helpful, as it's rare there is someone in my house to take delivery (everyone works).

And their prices are probably some of the best out there.

    Thats my 2 cents!

Had the same problem.....so moved to buy my parts from Scan. Not the cheapest place by by no means expensive! Probably within a £1 of ebuyer.

RMA's to Scan are easy to arrange.

Personally, I think any retailer is only as good as its service when things go wrong.

Its all very well for someone to offer goods at a low price, and people can be happy with that, providing things go right. However, things go wrong, its the law.;-)

Many businesses just do not allow for this, and don't know how to handle customers. It can often be something as simple as keeping a customer informed as to what is going on with returned goods, showing some respect, being honest. Not rocket science. This is what keeps people coming back to the same retailers, because they have confidence that should things go wrong, the situation will be resolved.

I've spent over £4000 on ebuyer over the past 3 years, amd have only had 3 problems.

    1. Motherboard died within 1 week, sent it back, they refunded me my money within a month

    2. Faulty maxtor hard drive, and im pretty sure it was the courrier who damaged it, as he dropped it on the ground when he was handing it to me. Got that replaced within 1 month.

    3. Faulty case power button. I threw out the original packaging, and bent the back a little, so they couldnt refund or replace it, but that was fair i suppose.

I've ordered from them a few times and are very fast deliver and a great selection of components at great value. However they do take time to answer the phones (I needed to cancel an order) and I am not looking forward if I need to send something back!

Yup, this is true. If your gonna call them you better be prepared to wait 10 minutes on the phone.

I've found Ebuyer to be pretty crap. I ordered a case from them once and it came with a big dent in the corner of it. Their returns process is hopelessly long as well, almost as bad as microdirect for customer service I found, however they do have cheap stuff there.
