Ah, but what really does your head in is this: if the iPhone is perfect, then surely there will never be another version of it. I mean, why bother?

    nice looking phone..

multi touch stylus..lol wouldn't it be easier to use two fingers than try to handle that contraption.
    nice idea with the earphones

Ideal phone I would like to see.
    200-300 mark,
    iphone sized,
    full touch screen
pull out keyboard (on device this size, i find all on screen keyboards fiddly),
    only BT and Wi-fi
Opensource OS (pik your own phone distro, and tweak it)
I'd have to add a few mm to size to have a decent battery life

Presumably because things move on. I'm sure a wooden wheel was the perfect wheel once upon a time...

    Re: The perfect phone?

The perfect phone? No such thing, but the closest is the SE Xperia X1.

Its not too big, has a good screen size with high res, best battery life I have seen to date and a real keyboard which means it doesn’t take up any viewing space on your screen. Also comes with all the other standard features these days such as GPS etc.

You cant beat it, no matter what geek tries to say X phone is better because its processor is X amount faster, it doesn’t matter, because the Xperia as a whole is the best, its solid.

It does however have 1 or 2 cons, that being the useless touchpad on the front, it works but its pointless as it has regular buttons right next to it.

And ofcourse it’s WindowsMobile, love it or hate it.

That 01 phone looks ugly, and it would be nice if they followed the Xperia X1 example by having a curve design so when you're typing the screen is actually facing you so meaning you get a better viewing angle.

    Re: The perfect phone?

i used to be a total Nokia fanboy... and whilst looked longingly at other makes for their rapidly updating technology, stuck with Nokia for years until recently...

i've now bitten the bullet and got myself the Blackberry Storm!
    absolute brilliant phone!

the iPhone is pure eye candy, but for business.... you can't beat the Balckberry!

    Re: The perfect phone?

look very sleek, but I doubt it be perfect. The best phone I used so far is the Sony Ericssion X1 as it pack with all the features I wanted on a phone but it still ain't perfect.

    Re: The perfect phone?

I have got a w910 for few years now,

but i think the next phone im getting should have

    The screen same as iphone,
    Long battery life
have open OS so that anyone can tweak it
    32GB of memory
    BT and wifi
    GPS
and have same video play back codecs installed as VLC media player
and not randomply restart its self
As for size something like a samsung tacco
and it also to be a NON slide,NON folding and no opening bits since they seem to get dirty break etc
Oh water prouf might be nice to
