I'm running it if that makes you feel any better
So the offical rom isn't on the offical website?
Is this a way of reducing the tech support overhead?
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
That one won't work on my phone either, gets to the start of the update, goes to 1 or 2%, the phone reboots and I get a message on my computer saying the update isn't compatible with my phone...
Oh well, it's all working OK at the moment, did the SMS and Camera updates fine and I'm having no probs with it, apart from the sensitivity of the screen casuing me to have a few texting problems. Sometimes I press a letter and as I lift my finger off it slightly drags off the letter and chooses another one. I should get used to it though.
Your phone provider locked?
Mines came straight from HTC so it flashed to mine with no problems.
If you want to though you can "goldcard" the mSD card and flash any official rom regardless of locale, I've just done the same with mine and gone from 1.48 to 1.61 WWE Turkish which has the camera and sms fixes.
Seems like there's a 2.01 rom out there somewhere also (sorry if this has been discussed, or old news) - with some interesting new features.

Nothing obvious but like I said, its apaprently got the sms and camera fixes as well as radio etc updates.
As for the 2.01 ROM its pre release US ROM afaik...
Oh, and if you want to flash the newer ROM's onto your phone check out the xda dev's forum the guys that write the goldcard software are giving away free goldcards as an xmas present so grab it while you can and update your phone
'Microsofting' my phone to back up my contacts won't work, and I really want to download the update =[

Backs up everything. I've used it since I first got my TyTn II and started playing with custom ROMS. Also used it to move all my call logs and text messages from that to my Touch Diamond 2.

Hmmm, having nothing but trouble now.
Can't install the new ROM because my phone is locked to o2 (I think that may be the reason)
At the moment it doesn't even show my memory card under the file explorer heading
So anyone used the Motorola Milestone ("Droid" in US, they both use Android) and can compare? Or blackberry 9700?
