Not much of a choice on that link, all i could find was the 200 or 400 package

I don't want another year of £30 a month, since for the next year i won't have much income.

Marcos, have you *actually* cancelled your contract? Because if you phone up your provider, and ask to cancel, chances are you'll be offered a good contract to stay. Even if you went to the shop and asked for a pac code, as long as the contracts not cancelled yet, you still have a chance

    Well, that the funny/annoying thing

I was set on buying myself an unlocked c500 on ebay, so i thought i'd just go into CPW and definitely cut the contract and not let them tease me into another. I was put on the phone with an o2 guy and he went through the steps and asked me why i was cancelling the contract and i must have given him a good excuse because he left it there and went ahead with it.

I wasn't aware that you could actoually get a good deal by renewing/upgrading the contract.

All i have right now is a PAC code and a number to call to transfer my contract back to PAYG. <- Which i have not done yet, so technically i am still on the contract.

But i don't want to be going into another contract unless i can get a very good deal on the k750 as a whole, basically the total of the 12months payment cannot be more than what i could buy it for right now on ebay. I don't really talk on the phones that much so there is zero possibility of me going over my free minutes.

Often you get the best deals this way.

Me - Free K750i + 100 (now get 300 on O2 Online 200) extra min a month and £10 off my monthly rental (was £25).

My GF - Free K750i + Halfprice line retal for the year (was £30, now £15 for O2 200).

Also got a free Bluetooth headset.

So i should just try calling them up again and seeing what they could do for me?

    How should i approach it?

Are you getting a free k750 for only £15 a month?

A free K750i on a £30 a month tarrif - but they are only charging me £15 a month for the whole year and giving me 100 extra mins on top. Same for my Girlfriend. We have been with o2 for 3 years now.

Phone em up, go striaght to retentions department and tell them you want to cancel you contract. It's amazing what they will offer you to stay.

i know about 9 people now who have this phone. One of them got a bad one that kept locking up and switching off. Got it swaped and now has no problems. SE will probably release a firmware update on thier website is any serious flaws show up.

If it's an official Sony Ericsson update, then I would like to get hold of it. I love the way Sony Ericssons can be firmware updated with a simple download from Sony's support site. But I can't find it on Sony Ericsson's site, are you sure it's not a 'community' release?

As for game's, i have downloaded quite a few. Most are crap but I can definatly recommend Midnight Pool, good old Tetris and classic Lemmings

I also love the way games are so easy to install. Also, if you bluetooth the .jar file to someone's other SE they can just install it stright away, as if it was a WAP download.

Vodafone will lock the phone so you can only use 'locked' mp3s as ringtones and then cant send them to other people.

O2 Im sure it was only ~£50 on a £20/month contract...

Many people I know (including myself) have got better deals than that. You just need to make a deal with them. They want your business and they will always do better than their advertised deals. If you want it on O2 it's better to phone O2 dirrect in my experience. Then them you are unsure of which network and even bend the truth a little saying you have been offered a better deal elsewhere.

However, the K750i is unavailable at the moment while they sort out the problems with the firmware. They should be re-releasing it soon though.

So when phonning O2 Online wanting the K750i for £50 with £19 line rental what should i say i've found elsewhere to have any chance of getting a decent deal out of them?

I mean should i say im currently on orange and they've offered me it for free on a £20 tariff?
