I almost did for the 6230, as it was a big step forward. But i wouldn't do it again, maybe the next good small windows smartphone that gets great reviews. But those things are a lot more than a phone so its justified.

Do they only need upgraded firmware?

Depends if they are the O2 branded version. Don't if it is. But there will probably newer updates apearing on the SEUS site at some point. If it's another UK network then the update will fix most bugs yes.

Does it work when plugged into the mains?

Doubt it you wil probably have to send yours back first, then on reciept they will send you a replacement.

Phone them, even if it's an O2 Online contract you can swap it in any O2 shop if you have had it less than 14 days.

She types in any code, and then it will ask you for the same code... once you have both typed in the same codes (could be anything) the two phones will pair...

Just a security thing to stop random people pairing with your phone...

What a faff this phone is, Vodaphone for some reason stop you using MP3 files as ringtones, one visit later to the sony developer sight and you get the DRM tool, 1 MP3 transfered to DRM files

On the photo front, well chuffed with it, just getting to grips with it, will try it out at Croft next weekend

Download Tweak UI from here. It will allow you to hide any icons from the desktop, plus there are afew other features which may be useful!
