yes voda have royally sh*gged any useful functions with this phone meaning you can't do a straight mp3 download to hte phone but need to convert it first.

The features are easily unlocked with the sony ericsson developers tools that are legally downloadable from their website so vodaphone can't even have a go at you for changing the settings, its all above board. Got used to the phone now, the only problem I have now is that for some reason I can't delete the demo games they put on the phone. I press the delete button, it goes through the motions but the game is still there. I want rid of them, they are taking memory better spent on photo's

I phonned a few days back and was told 4th but i know someone who ordered about midnight on friday and it arrived today

All you need to get it the main SE deveelopment studio and depending on what contract you get it with, a quick google search there are quick tutorials of how to change settings for all operators to get the simplest of features back like the MP3 ring tones.

orange phones allow mp3 ring tones...so mine will play the full version of GnR sweet child of mine I like to ask people to ring me back and wait a while before I pick up

Those of you who ordered from O2 whilst they had stock, how long did it take for the confirmation email to come through?

In Googlee search for the SE DRM Tool. Now this is well hidden on the mage, this will allow vodaphone companies to change their mp3 to a DRM file and bingo you have a MP3 as your ring tone.

From the same search and the page it should bring up, there will be clear as day SE Development studio (click the first tab saying Development on the page) theres your development studiio. When I get home I will find and post the links to the apps.

I am the same as you storm. I have Superjoint Ritual - Waiting for the turning point mp3 as my ringtone. I barely remember to answer the phone as I am headbanging to the metal goodness coming from the phone
