Close - Comodo Firewall + Avira Free. Comodo's AV doesn't seem to score highly (or even appear in the tables); Avira is always at or near the top.
I used Avast for years but it's become heavy and buggy.

Another +1 for Windows Defender, with Malwarebytes at the ready for when things get suspiciously laggy
When I installed 10 windows,I deleted my antivirus, think preloaded antivirus works fine too
I have tried many over the year namely Nod32, Sophos, Norton personal and business versions, Kaspersky, AVG and more that I can't remember. I now use Malwarebytes on all my systems. It does not have a firewall but in my opinion it is the best for malware removal and offers really good protection. I was lucky enough to buy my licenses when Malwarebytes was selling lifetime update licenses for about £20.
the stock anti-virus on Windows 10: Windows Defender. I have to say third-party anti-virus would slow down the performance.
I have used webroot for 2 years, but currently switched to kaspersky.
IMO nowadays when picking or even deciding if you really need an antivirus you should look at all the little extras they provide and see if its worth it for you (like for me kaspersky blocks access to webcam which is great). Oh and also shop around for deals, I got kaspersky for £20 for 2 years for 3 devices, a total bargain imo.
I have Kaspersky and it's nice and quiet for me. I put it on my (very not tech) parent's machine, and it seems whenever I walk away it posts a box that alarms them!
Although at least if they're alarmed they're not just clicking Okay and ignoring the message, which, err, might be my more typical behaviour!

Been using Norton Security on all my PCs and Laptops for the last 10 years and its been flawless. negligible performance impact and one of the lightest AVs. And can get quite good deals during black friday. Highly recommended.
I find Windows Defender with the occasional Malwarebytes scan works well enough.
I have been using Norton for about 5 years now and love it
I've used avast for a long time, although it may be seen as a bit bloated with all its extras. Windows defender is apparently much, much better that it used to be but I think has a larger footprint compared to others.
I've used avast for a long time and haven't had any major issues. Windows defender is apparently good now but has a slightly larger performance impact compared to others (but then again it has none of the extra bloat).
I have always used NOD32 as it takes up so few system resources. Malwarebytes and NOD32 is the perfect combination imo, both have blocked untold amounts of trojans and keyloggers etc. So the programs tell me anyway...
I used to have kaspersky thing but then articles like this made it hard to stay confident, you know.
now it's avast mostly. And, since I have children , I also use some mspy.com parenting control tools. I use to doubt these options, but it turned out to be quite efficient.
It's more safe to know that your kids are OK online - with all inappropriate websites being blocked
