    video editing guides

i've been playing around with the movie maker in windows XP, and find it pretty easy to use. i was wondering if any one knew of a good book for beginners for adobe Primiera as i've been told this is the best software for video editing.

any recommendations on books or other peoples software which will be just as good?

It depends on your level of expertise, I use Pinnacle Studio 8, most funtions are drag and drop, works a treat. If you goto the Pinnacle website there is a user manual in .pdf format you can download for free, although its essentially for their package it gives some useful hints on actual filming and editing, also give you an idea of the actual package setup and if 'its for you' !!??
