No, but using F5 (usually Refresh) for it borders on dumb...

We use it for email, room booking (which doesn't seem to work properly as people can book the same room!) and the calendar.

Exchange handle room bookings pretty well

personally I like my messageing service to..... well do just that .. If I want a user database ? Well I've got 8 beefy SQL boxes under my thumb and a team of well trained DEVs , so its not an issue - Integration isn't always a good thing.

And another thing - Notes passwords , just another security credential for users to forget.

Hey, what about GroupWise ? (runs away and hides).

Seriously though I'm migrating our GroupWise 6.0 system to Exchange 2003/Outlook 2003 and to be honest I can see why it's creeping over the whole planet. Microsoft's resources for R&D far outweigh Novell's and it seems that IBM just don't care much for Notes/Domino any more

    Lets all install Pegasus Mail

notes sucks as an email package but is pretty good at workflow management

its just a shame that it sucks SOOO BAD as an email app. that this tends to overshadow its other capabilities

don't bother me none tho, still using version 4.6 here which is keeping me in a job nicely with all the support & additional training requirted cos its so un-intuitive
if it ain't broke...fix it till it is
