MCE cold boot for scheduled record

    Hi Everyone,

I've got an MCE box with a couple of Compro DVB-T200s in it (see My System dropdown).
My problem is that the Compro software doesn't support season link and wasn't that stable. I bought MCE 2005 (added rollup 2) and I've now got a nice stable recording platform but the only downside is that I can no longer power the PC off to save power when not recording.
I've tried to contact Compro about an API to set a scheduled boot up but have had no reply from them.
Does anyone know of any apps / hardware which I could tie in to MCE to boot the machine as per the recording schedule in MCE? Any suggestions welcomed.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. It's not so much the shutting down that's the problem but getting it to power up from cold to record the next scheduled program. I've tried hibernate but it's not very reliable.

The problem is scheduling it to boot based on the next scheduled program torecord.
Was thinking maybe there might be some sort of PCI card or something around that could do this...? I've had a look at CMOSTimer but my M/B doesn't have date support - only time.
