I would go with that except as Argentina (with one DMC) and Brazil (with two DMC) it seems to work to divide your team into two units. i would have to drop fat Frank; he can't seem to get the new ball.

Always brings out the recent cliches; lampard and gerard can't play in teh same side and why oh why have we not managed to produce a left footed player?

Well, not a LOL moment for NK. I do feel for them. Looks like both Portuguese speaking nation will go through.

For all his idiocy off the pitch, I was well impressed with Terry on it. See the way he threw himself in the path of some shots like a human sausage!

    Re: World Cup 2010 Thread!

Pleased with the result of the group: USA first - not because I even cared about that team much, but because they were so close from being robbed into the next round altogether. As for the French, they seem to go from excellent to piss poor from WC to WC.

That was some nice football from Japan vs Denmark. Denmark's goalkeeper didn't play so well though haha but Japan did deserve to win xD

Hoorah! Good game to watch Japan beat Denmark.

Had a weird moment when Okazaki scored and my brain was like "wtf is a guy from Clannad doing on the team sheet?"

    Definitely good football but Sorensson...tut-tut...howlers...

    Re: World Cup 2010 Thread!

Well ive a wild bet from start of World cup for Germany to win so im well happy today.

England is being totally outclassed on the pitch.

No doubt the lampard shot will form the media and supporters opinions on why they were stuffed 4-1.

I expected better from England but as we have seen so far the team just doesn't work. Plenty of individual players who arent working well together as a team.

    Re: World Cup 2010 Thread!

They've been lucky to get this far. This must be one of the worst England team for a long while. Some of them have been in the team too long and it seems they all play individually rather than a team. They all look tired and not bottered at all. The whole team need an overhaul.
