No nissan GTR (thank god) But there's loads of mods for it. Not all can be used in the online version but when you first install the game you'll get the option of on and off line. Go for both.

Cheers, so do these modded cars have there own characteristics ie handling or do they just replace the existing cars on looks?
They each have their own characteristics, it is not like an arcade game where just the looks are changed; this is a sim. Also remember it includes cars from the likes of a Mini roadcar through to F3000 racing cars. It can also be significantly modded with new cars ,tracks etc. (including the Steam version in both online/offline mode). Just look at some of the dedicated sites such as NoGrip for info.
In threads like this you always get the two camps. The people who love the arcade racing games (generally on consoles) and those that love the simulation racing games (generally on the PC). They rarely agree but they don't need to as they can coexist, people should just understand which one gives them what they want from racing and not be swayed by all the fanboys.

I like both - looking forward to Burnout Paradise as much as I am Race Pro.
The majority of the new cars are under the mods link. The cars link is mostly new skins for existing cars.
The new skins can be used online though and it's great racing f3000 cars with classic F1 livery. Also great to get more of the proper GT car skins, who wants to race an Aston in anything other than British racing green?
Top Gears BMW britcar 24 hour race car is on there aswell and a must for download.

Most of the mods seem to make it round all the sites, but here's another.
