All week int eh build up to the blizzard convention in paris all the pages have had a weird ice page up. each day more bits came off and today its says diablo 3 is go

Aye, they have been teasing us all week with the ice image and adding to it daily. Great news that the Diablo franchise is going to be kept alive.

havent seen the vid yet as im waiting for it to load but i wonder if the release is well far away or soon, been waiting for a d3 as i loved d2 but it eventually grew old with all the "hackers" aka google cheaters and stuff, then became bored as my characters had been deleted . Hopefully its all changed

edit: WOW, thats what i can say. They kept it similar to d2 and that is a good thing, glad they uped the graphics but i hope its good graphics(well anything like hellgate tbh). Nice that alot of things can be destroyed like ston walls. Only thing i can see being an issue is that i dunno if they still kept it click to attack and not click on a monster to attack it as that would be way to hard with all the little things, hopefully you can use wasd keys aswell.

Oh boy, I used to be hooked on D2 and D2 LoD. I'd better tell the missus about D3 in advance, this one could cause trouble.

Been a while since I did any PC gaming, but I'm gonna have to get this one. I'm even tempted to reinstall D2.

parm, im tempted to reinstall it to lol. apprently the release date is 09/30/2009 which is well far away , i was hopeing perhaps they would pull a fast one where it would release this year, oh well.

Diablo I and II have been some of the very few games I've bought on launch day and continued to play after completing once.

That gameplay video is amazing!

Its worthwhile and shows so much... But I did notice a few things... the gems are still in the game. Saw a 'chipped' drop at one point. Was I the only one who ended up with bags full of those things not quite having enough to transmute them

Give me a release date and I'll tell you when I get a new computer.

Edit: That looked very complete even though you only saw a tiny bit... 2009's to far away
