uGuru Utility for Win 7 64bit on Fatality AN9 32X

Is the latest uGuru utility v3.1.0.9 the latest that is available? I would like a utility for monitoring MOBO temps and voltages, but not sure if this version is compatible with Win 7 64bit. Abit's website states it is compatibible with Vista 64, however.

    Any ideas?

It works fine with windows 7 32, sometimes has a few issues when shutting down but all temps, speeds and voltages are reporting correctly.

There is no reason why it won't work on win 7 x64.

how did you get a digitally signed driver for µguru? windows 7 x64 will only allow digitally signed drivers and there were no official versions of Abit's µguru software that offered that. do you have a link for the driver you use or can you share the file? i have it installed on my x64 box but it will not report anything in windows. the actual hardware still works and reports but not the software because of it missing the digital signature. the only simple work around is to use "F8" on every single boot and select the option where digital signatures are not required but hopefully you can provide the signed driver you use. a little harder work around is to write a script to do that automatically. and a harder work around is to actually re-compile the driver and create your own digital signature and certificate and re-compile it, install the certificate then install the driver... thx if you can, ABIT was sooo far ahead of their time even so much so that some major manufacturers in 2012 still copy them and still come out with new features that ABIT used back in the early 2000's the only basic difference is that abit boards just don't have the new cpu and memory chipsets...

except for the fact window 7 x64 requires digitally signed drivers where windows 7 x86 does not require that

Re: uGuru Utility for Win 7 64bit on Fatality AN9 32X

µGuru 3.1.0.9 has a Vista 64Bit driver in the setup folders somewhere.
I currently don't have any µGuru capable Abit boards running to check if this will actually work, but AFAIK Vista drivers should work fine in Win7.

I'll probably end up digging my IP35 Pro out to try if it works some time later.. lol

µGuru 3.1.0.9 can be found on my FTP
    ftp://91.121.194.115/pub/download/ut.../uguru3109.zip (8.1MB)

Re: uGuru Utility for Win 7 64bit on Fatality AN9 32X

Depends on what you need. Abit-specific tools and utilities are on my FTP, but all other drivers (chipset, LAN, sound, etc.) on there will be ridiculously out of date. Would be better to get those straight from the manufacturer of the chips (i.e. if your Board has a Realtek Audio chip, download the newest drivers straight from the Realtek website, rather than using the 5+ year old ones on my FTP)

    http://forums.hexus.net/abit-care-he...0-updates.html

You can download a trial version of AIDA64 to find out the hardware details (even without having drivers installed) for the sound, lan, firewire, etc chips
