Better designed tracks (some led themselves to parades more than others) and for the track to be soaked before the start of, or maybe randomly during the race; regardless of weather. The wet races last year seemed to be the most entertaining.

Or maybe speed bumps... while towing caravans (ala Skidmarks)!

Re: What F1 needs to be Great (tm) again

Nah, scrap all that OP malarky, there are only two things that are needed.

    1. Get rid of that grey haired dwarf and the pervert, preferably by death in some amusing fashion.

    2. One cross over jump on the track ala Mario Cart (so there's potential for two cars to collide in mid air).

This may have already been mentioned, but I'd love to see a return the insane power of the Turbo era, that would really sort the men from the boys.

Re: What F1 needs to be Great (tm) again

    Get rid of fuel stops.

No more waiting for the guy in front to go in, and banging a few good laps in. You wanna be higher up the order? Get passed the one in front.

Make the races longer, about 2 hours as normal length. Not shorter as they will be next year.

iranu has the right idea, at least with the first suggestion.

I would love to see races without fuel stop strategies, that would be pure team engineering and driver performance

i just dont care about pit strategies

I think it's important to keep the longer race and thus the pit stops. However, a sprint race of some sort would be nice to see

There are no fuel stops in 2010, only tyre stops. Refuelling is banned.

Yeah but, they would need to be rather large and since everyone would know exactly what to use it's just going to slow the racing down... not a bad idea I suppose there might be more overtaking..

    hmmm...

I had forgotten about that rule change Gav. Not sure that changes too much though, just removes fuel strategy.

i agree with some good sugestions,

NOS, Afterburners, ramps for good jumps, oh possibly turn it in to distruction dirby,

    any how

we want to see more crashes and more insanity, not all the stupid strategy stuff...yawn
